During my life it has never failed to astound me just how much people underestimate, fail to treasure, or even remember the successes that they have achieved in their lives.
Each and every one of us has had successes; however too often we either don’t see them for what they are or, if we do acknowledge them at the time, we soon forget. On a bad day we can feel that we never achieve anything at all, or doubt ourselves and our abilities.

I can only think of two things that are not negotiable and they are death and taxes. Other than that everything else is up for grabs. The fact that everything is negotiable doesn’t mean you will get everything just the way you want it. What it does mean is you can at least ask for what you want.
My husband had an unfortunate car accident. He was waiting his turn to make a left-hand turn, and a woman in the van in front of him decided to back up. She didn’t notice my husband behind her. Her foot slipped and she stomped on the accelerator. The van smashed into our car. The good news is my husband is fine. The bad news is the car is totaled.

Most of the time we go about our lives thinking we have the one and only true take on reality. However, our personal reality is not the world, but rather how we view the world. Our experiences are not only how we interact with the world, but also how we interpret those experiences.
There are limitless examples of how two people can interpret the same experiences in a completely different manner. We notice different things, place emphasis on different parts of our experience, and come to different conclusions.

In order to manifest your hearts desires you must expect them to come to you. You must believe you are worthy and have full faith that it is already yours. You must think about them and feel the feelings of already having it. You must become emotionally involved with everything you want. You must prepare to receive.
There’s a story about two farmers who both desperately needed rain to fall on their fields. They were both asking and praying for the rain, but still the rain did not come.

We learn so many lessons from those we are around growing up. People basically are products of their environments. Our personalities, beliefs, tendencies, and habits mostly are a result of the influence of the people we interact with on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the lessons we are taught generally do not lead to a happy and prosperous life. It seems that we are ultimately taught to conform and settle into the mold that “society” feels we ought to fit into.
