We are all human; we all get caught up in the stories we create in our minds and we forget to treat ourselves with the same common courtesy that we usually offer our neighbors. How long would our neighbors be friendly if every time they saw us, we went off on tangent about everything they’ve done wrong this year? And yet, most of us treat ourselves exactly like that.
Your attitude determines so many things in your life. Salespeople are trained to always maintain a positive attitude and athletes are reminded to create a winning attitude. While it’s true that commitment, persistence and faith all contribute to helping you create and maintain success in so many areas of your life, thankfulness, or gratitude, are also important.
To understand the power of thankfulness you need to remember the premise of the Law of Attraction which states “like attracts like.” Therefore, by seeking to always maintain an “attitude of gratitude” you are telling the Universe you appreciate what you have been given and you are ready to receive more.
Truth: You must take action in order to Succeed.
What are you going to do with the information you have learned in this article, or the next course or book you read? That is the key. The difference between those that make things happen and those that sit by and let life happen to them is that doers take action. Not only do they take action, they take it on a consistent basis and they take action in timely manner. If you want to be successful you need to take the information you learn and put it to use now.
Human beings are constantly faced with all kinds of difficulties in life. Changes in the social environment, cruel competition in the market, study results, conflict between the ideal and the reality, complicated inter-personal relationship and even the blows people suffered from various misfortunes and calamities.
You probably feel worn out and lost in direction. But do they make you feel that life is too tiring and too difficult and so want to give up the courage to battle with the difficulties in front? Definitely not! Everyone faces difficulties and resistance in life. In fact, life is a battle with all sorts of resistance. Resistance is like a spring coil. When you are strong, it is weak and when you are weak, it is strong. In all battles against resistance, there are only two results - either the difficulty ate up the weak or the strong conquered the difficulty.
I guess we all get stuck in a creative rut from time to time - artists whose variations on a theme have begun to lack, well… variety; musicians whose new songs sound a little too much like their old ones, or whose musical phrasings have become so well worn that they’re almost worn out; or writers who have settled for the easy.
And if what you produce fails to satisfy yourself then the chances are it will fail to satisfy your audience too. It’s time to shock yourself out of your creative rut.
The most important part of any executive’s job is identifying and solving problems objectively and quickly. Your success in business depends upon it.
However a typical day of any executive makes this, at times, an uphill struggle.
Many demands are placed on you. Employees need managing, meetings to go to, sales proposals and presentations have to be prepared, sales to be closed, customer relations need attention… and so it goes on. Often there is precious little time during a busy day to quietly focus on key issues as you are swept along, dealing with problems as they come up.
It was a wise decision to attend T. Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar. Although I have been engaging in personal development for the past 5 years, this is the very first time that I am actually attending it live. I have always had chances to attend a couple of live events but always proclaimed that I am too busy to set aside time to do it but this time round, I committed myself to do it.
