Employees are also known as the internal customer of an organization. If they are satisfied and enjoy their work environment then your organizations growth will be phenomenal. The problem is that more often, we miss out on our employees and focus more in business development. The end result is that we have a database of customers but employees with low morale who do more harm than good. The bottom-line is that employee motivation is integral to the success of any organization.

“People with goals succeed because they know where they are going. It’s as simple as that.”

Earl Nightingale

All of you must have set yourself some goals. A goal, in simple terms, is a properly defined target that can give you clarity of thought, direction in life, motivation to achieve something in your life and the ability to focus on your life’s agenda.

If you have heard the phrase, “self-made millionaire” before, then you are probably wondering how a mentor can propel you to great wealth. This phrase, often repeated in today’s media, is probably one of the greatest lies perpetrated on our society! If you pick any millionaire or billionaire around the world (who actually created their wealth personally) you will find a large list of colleagues, friends, business advisors and life coaches who helped them on their way.

Who are they?

A mentor is more than just a person who tells you what to do and when to do it. Although the traditional idea is of the experienced mystic who knows exactly what to say in every situation, a modern view is much more practical. Moreover, the new mentor concept is also more accessible to those who see the value and take advantage of the strategy.

Having a mentor does not mean you need to hire a high priced professional coach. The important part about having a mentor is finding a system of beliefs, actions and goals to model and experiment with. This may include a one-on-one with any number of qualified professionals but it can also be through video interviews, books, audio programs and the like.

Finding your mentor

In your area of pursuit, your first step should be to find a mentor that will help you grow and move toward your goals. If you are interested in real estate investing then learn what you can from investors such as Robert G. Allen or Raymond Aaron. If you’re more into stock investing, follow the advice of Warren Buffet and subscribe to any number of information services available. Read what they have written, use their advice, meet them if possible and follow their lead.

Remember, a mentor is not just a person who holds your hand through each step of your business, career or investment progression. A mentor can be any person who motivates you to succeed, helps you focus your thoughts and beliefs and gives you the information you require at each stage of your life.

Final Thoughts

By successfully integrating mentors into your life you will develop a completely new mind-set towards wealth. If you can find the right mentors for each stage of your career you will be far ahead of those who falsely believe that they can be a self-made success.

One of my executive coaching clients was talking with me about how complacent and apathetic his employees had become and how lackluster the company’s performance has been this year, compared to the potential that really exists within the staff. This led us into a discussion about whether a leader should be held accountable to, and for that matter, should the leader be expected to motivate others. And our discussion led us to agree that it is not the leader’s job to motivate the staff. What? Did that surprise you when you read that? I can imagine that a majority of readers of this article will be surprised.

Here is a problem you are probably facing right now, and you do not even realize! There is a fine line between wanting to succeed and actually succeeding. As you walk on the path to reaching your goals and achieving success, there are often obstacles you must overcome.

Two of the biggest obstacles are your own thoughts and habits. They distract you from your goals and instead of taking a straight road toward your goal, you walk a crooked path filled with pot holes and ditches. Most people have this one thing in common, and that is not being consistent in their actions.

Does daily motivation really work? Can anyone be motivated every single day?

Unfortunately, most people are not even motivated, let alone be motivated everyday!

Here’s why, we’re all humans & our emotional well-being changes everyday, for some people, it changes every few hours depending on their surroundings. This is also known as mood swings.

The fact of the matter is, motivation does not last, that is the reason why we need it every single day.

Getting motivated daily starts with your sense of purpose. Ask yourself these questions:

• What’s your purpose for living? (What’s your excuse for breathing the oxygen?)

We learn so many lessons from those we are around growing up. People basically are products of their environments. Our personalities, beliefs, tendencies, and habits mostly are a result of the influence of the people we interact with on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the lessons we are taught generally do not lead to a happy and prosperous life. It seems that we are ultimately taught to conform and settle into the mold that “society” feels we ought to fit into.

Sometimes just one good idea can revolutionize your life. Other times it’s a combination of good ideas that propels you to new heights of happiness and achievement.

A year or two ago I discovered a powerful procrastination busting concept. My only problem was that I forgot to use it.

About a week ago, I remembered how great this idea was and started using it on the spot. Then as I worked with it, I added some new twists of my own so that I could use it for additional activities throughout my entire day.

Matthew 18: 19-20 I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they make ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered in My name, I am there in their midst.

There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in fellowship and in numbers. Power to live the life promised to you comes in fellowship and agreement with others. Don’t isolate yourself from other believers.

As a human being, you will probably have been given a problem to solve. This does not mean you have to be in school – many problems come from our experiences in daily life. What you probably didn’t know are the steps you have to go through to solve problems. Read on and find out what they are.

The first part is when your mind absorbs as much information about the problem as you can scrounge around for. This means you take in not just valid information but plenty of misinformation as well.
