There are two kinds of people in life—those who make their decisions based on faith and those who are constrained by fear. Faith inspires us to move forward, while fear can keep us trapped in the mundane but “safe” world of our own choosing.

Do you have fears that hold you back from opportunities to grow? Dwelling in fear versus faith makes all the difference in what you are willing to do. How you choose to approach the risks and opportunities set before you will largely determine your lot in life and impact your potential for happiness.

Fear-Based Living

I had a miserable childhood. I say: “I had”. Past Simple Tense. Not because I’m not a child any longer, but be cause from today’s time perspective, I see that it wasn’t quite true. Yes, I had been feeling miserable for most of the time of my childhood, often being sad and having occasional impressions that the world existed for a sole reason to make me miserable. Surprising paranoia for a 7-8 year boy! Meantime, a vast turnover took place. Today, I know that everything that has happened and is still happening is be cause of the overall progress, the Evolution.

Your attitude determines so many things in your life. Salespeople are trained to always maintain a positive attitude and athletes are reminded to create a winning attitude. While it’s true that commitment, persistence and faith all contribute to helping you create and maintain success in so many areas of your life, thankfulness, or gratitude, are also important.

To understand the power of thankfulness you need to remember the premise of the Law of Attraction which states “like attracts like.” Therefore, by seeking to always maintain an “attitude of gratitude” you are telling the Universe you appreciate what you have been given and you are ready to receive more.

Happiness is an interesting concept. What makes somebody happy? What can you do to be happy? Happiness isn’t just an in-the-moment thing; it is your state of being, at least, for a moderate while. People can become depressed, unmotivated, disheartened, and discouraged for many reasons, and depending on the magnitude, the sadness can replace the happiness as a state of being. However, if one is normally happy and then becomes sad because of, say, a funeral, that does not mean they have lost their happiness, it is just temporarily gone, in alternative to actually being displaced.

Happiness Is A Choice - 3 Keys To Choosing Happiness
By Jason Osborn

Did you know that happiness is a choice? I know it doesn’t always seem like it but it is. Just think about it. How can someone who has everything in life be miserable and yet someone that hardly has anything can be amazingly happy? It comes down to what they choose. Happiness is a choice that you must make. Here are 3 keys to help you choose happiness.

1. Don’t be led by emotions.

“When you make a deliberate choice to be happy, happiness will meet you.” - Dr. Cara Alana

Many people have the mindset that happiness is for other people, or for later in life when everything’s perfect. They’ve stopped believing that happiness is in their reach.

Happiness is always within us, but it’s sometimes trapped under layers of limitations that others (and sometimes we, ourselves) have piled on. As with an artichoke, we have to peel away the layers to get to our joyful heart.

You cannot control other people’s actions (only your own reactions) and you can’t count on other people to make you happy.

Hi, and happy spring!
This month’s issue of Personal Power is all about celebration. It’s the season for weddings, Easter, Passover, Good Friday, Cinco de Mayo, graduations. I am celebrating a sort of graduation. I have manifested tremendous abundance and freedom in all aspects of my life. That gives me cause to celebrate, and celebrating I am, big time! I am sharing this with you so you can see what is possible.

Sometimes just one good idea can revolutionize your life. Other times it’s a combination of good ideas that propels you to new heights of happiness and achievement.

A year or two ago I discovered a powerful procrastination busting concept. My only problem was that I forgot to use it.

About a week ago, I remembered how great this idea was and started using it on the spot. Then as I worked with it, I added some new twists of my own so that I could use it for additional activities throughout my entire day.

I love listening to spiritual programs on TV. I was listening to a spiritual leader and he was talking about visualization. One thing he was specific about was that if you can see it in your mind, then it can manifest in your life.

The 80/20 Principle and Time Revolution

Most of what we do is of low value.

Some small fragments of our time are much more valuable than all the rest.

If we can do anything about this, we should do something radical.

If we make good use of only 20 percent of our time, there is no shortage of it!

The point is not to manage your time better!

You need to transform how you spend your time and you probably need to change the way you think about time itself. Time management is about the selling of “time managers.” Time management aims to fit a quart into a pint jar, it is about speeding up.
